When you first feel the Magivac Mop Head you will find it's hard as rock. It always dries hard like that. That's how it resists germs, odours and bacteria. This is not rubber or a sponge.

This material is PVA, Poly Vinyl Alcohol. So in order to activate the Mop stick it in hot water for 1 minute or cold water for 3 minutes. It becomes soft, super absorbent and very very easy to work with.

With the Magivac Mop it doesn't spread the mess around - it pulls the liquid in, kind of like a vacuum cleaner for liquid or a magnet for water and there are no drips. And there is never any bending, see the handle is bent - it does the bending for you, in fact you can turn it over and get right under your baseboards and cupboards while keeping your back straight. So it does the bending for you and it doesn't drip. When its time to wring the mop out, watch how the double rollers force the dirt out of the mop never into the mop, so your mop head is always clean and fresh and will last 2-3 years on average even if you mop your floor every day.

The Magivac Mop can pick up sand, breadcrumbs, dust, dog or cat hair etc.

Put your PVA Mop in water to soften and pull the one finger wringer so the head of your mop is damp. Now you are damp mopping not wet mopping. This is how you will use it if you have water sensitive floors, eg Hardwood laminate, Pergot slate. Don't be afraid to use detergents with our mop, eg Pine Sol, Mr Kleen, Fantastic, Mop n Glow, they will not hurt the mop.

So you do not need to sweep your floor before you mop dog or cat hair that clings to other mops and won't come out, but watch how when you stick this mop in the bucket everything just slides off.

The Magivac Mop should last 2 to 3 years.
