I was a bit sceptical using the Casada Massager as I have a missing “L7” disk in my lower back and am constantly in pain. I tried the massager on my lower back to see if it will reduce the pain, and it did! Wow, it was great, it freed my back up so i was able to move and do the things that i love pain free!!!! FAQs
Q: How long do they last?
A: It depends on how much you use it. Based on testing we estimate that with average domestic use it should last 10-15 years.
Q: What is the cover made of?
A: The cover is made of a heavy duty vinyl that is designed to look like leather. The vinyl is much stronger than leather and will not split or wear from repeated usage. In the four years the product has been on the market in Australia we have not had one split.
Q: Do they heat up?
A: There is no heating element in the machine however massage pumps a lot of blood and oxygen into the muscles which heats the muscle up naturally.
Q: How long should you use it for each time?
A: We recommend no more than 4 or 5 minutes per spot then move it an inch or two. After 4 or 5 minutes in one area the muscle will get warm and any longer may irritate the muscle and will not be likely to achieve any further improvement. You can always revisit the area.
Q: What’s inside?
A: There are four massage heads designed to mimic the shape and movement of human hands to give you the feeling of an authentic hands on German massage.
Q: How long is the cord?
A: The cord is more than long enough to go from anyone’s head to feet once you get the power to the chair. It measures --------cm
Q: How do I use it in the car?
A: It comes complete with an adapter that you can plug into the cigarette lighter in your car.
Q: Can it help with:
1. Sciatica
Yes the sciatic nerve runs from the tailbone across the top of the gluteus and down the side of the legs. These areas can be targeted directly with the Maxiwell.
2. Arthritis
The Maxiwell delivers oxygen and blood into the treated area, which in turn warms up the area and helps alleviate the cold aching pain of arthritis.
3. Slipped disc, fused disc, bulging disc or scoliosis
The massage cushion is only treating the muscle system. All the muscles are joined to the skeletal structure in 4 places, sometimes only 2. When your muscles are tight and knotted they affect the skeletal structure significantly. Therefore by relaxing the muscle you in turn take a lot of pressure and tension off the skeletal structure. We have seen many great results over the years with the above spinal problems.
4. Varicose Veins
If you suffer from varicose veins you should NOT treat these areas. However massaging the souls of the feet is the best way to stimulate blood circulation through the body.
Q: Can you use this if you have a pacemaker?
A: We don’t recommend it for people with a pacemaker.
Q: Is it supposed to hurt?
A: Generally with massage it hurts the most in the places where the tension is stored. It’s important for the long term benefits to release the tension, if you don’t pump the blood and oxygen deep into the muscle the result is minimal. With regular use these pains should reduce over time. If the pain persists or you feel that it’s not a pain caused by tension please consult your doctor.
Q: How often can you use it?
A: You can use your Maxiwell massager every day. To get the full benefits we recommend you use your massager regularly, if you’re short on time at least take the time to massage your feet everyday. Just by massaging your feet you are treating your whole body via the reflexology points in your feet.
We don’t recommend leaving the massager in the one place for more than 5 mins as it can irritate the muscle. However, this does not apply to the feet, the longer you massage the feet the better.
Q: How long have they been available in Australia?
A: The Maxiwell massage cushion has been available in Australia since 2005 and in Europe since 2003.
Q: Can kids use them?
A: We generally do not recommend the Maxiwell for children. The massage cushion is designed for a developed back. Children have soft bones and developing muscles. If kids are to use the massage cushion, they can use it on the lower half of their body until they finish growing. It can benefit the kids for growing pains on the legs and after sport.
Q: Can they help with weight loss?
A: No, however our Health Station and Health Station Platinum are fantastic for weight loss.
Q: Do they help with Cellulite?
A: They can help with cellulite. Cellulite has little to do with how big or small a person is. The orange peel marking on the skin is a gathering of toxins. The person’s body is not releasing the toxins from their system.
Massage helps break up these toxins from the affected area. When you finish the massage it’s very important the drink at least 2 glasses of water to help flush the toxins out of the body.
Q: Does the 12-volt work as well on 24 Volt?
A: You would have to get a special cord to convert 24 Volts to 12 Volts. It is strictly a 12 Volt Machine.
Q: Are there any conditions under which you don’t recommend using the Maxiwell?
A: We recommend you consult a Doctor before using the massage cushion if you suffer from any of the following;

Pacemaker
Heart Disease
Osteoporosis
Pregnancy
Malignant Tumor
Perception Disorder

Warranty
| The Casada Maxiwell Massage Cushion has a 2yr warranty from the date purchased. The warranty covers any defects in materials and workmanship however it does not cover general wear and tear. The Casada Maxiwell Massage Cushion is a demonstration product, where you have tried the massage unit before you purchased. You can not recieve a refund if you have changed your mind or no longer can afford. This product does not have a 'Cooling Off Period'.
